Cabell County Schools only accepts applications and bids electronically for all jobs. The application and bid sheets must be completed on a computer.
To be considered for any position, we must receive bids by the bid closing time on the last day of the posting period for the desired position. Closing time for professional bids is 4:00 PM Eastern, and for service bids 3:30 PM Eastern. All bids are posted a minimum of five full business days.

Substitute Bus Operator
D12 pay rate. 5:30AM-4:30PM split shift. These positions are for the 2026-2027 school year and are on an on-call, as needed basis. Positions require the applicant to have or obtain a CDL Class B w/passenger endorsement and a WVDE Bus Operator certification. Applicants who meet initial screening requirements will be provided training to obtain those requirements.

This extracurricular position works M-F approximately 3 hours per week as determined by the principal. Pay rate is determined by the number of hours worked and the applicant's daily rate.
